We met with Brianna Melville from GWN7 Regional news and had a quick chat about The Backyard Pantry.

Consumers now want to know about the origins of their food, such as where it was grown, raised or caught. And they also want to know which processes and procedures were used in producing their food and drink products.

We work with and support WA farmers and producers who are passionate about producing good quality products and who also care about the methods and the means they use to produce these products.

Very importantly, we help consumers discover these producers. So our platform really is a place for consumers and producers all across WA to connect and build ongoing relationships. In the process, farmers & producers are supported and consumers can once again know where their food comes from, and that it is quality that they are buying.
