This event takes place outdoors on a functioning farm, where you may come across sticks, rocks, bugs and spiders and we work with animals. The weather in Margaret River during truffle season is typically very cold and wet. Please wear warm, protective clothing and suitable enclosed footwear.
Our orchards are biologically sensitive and you will be asked to wash your footwear in our footbath. Please wear shoes that you don’t mind getting a little wet.
Umbrellas are available to loan during your hunt.
Dogs and other pets are strictly prohibited on the farm. Dirty paws pose a biosecurity risk to our orchards and the distraction of our hunters will not guarantee the best possible experience.
This tour is geared towards adults. Infants don’t need a ticket, but they must be carried. Regrettably, strollers cannot be brought into our orchards due to biosecurity risks.
Truffles are a natural product and as such are dependent on natural cycles and conditions. Our schedule is designed to give the best opportunity possible for at least one member from each hunt to have the opportunity to dig up a truffle but this is something we cannot guarantee.
