Today was my first time trying Damper Gully Farms Prince of Orange spuds. I have never heard of them before so I was excited to use them. They were so beautifully fresh when I got them, I think because they are unwashed and in a paper bag they seem to keep well. I baked them with some truffle salt and avocado oil and they came out so golden and delicious. Loved them!
We've never had Prince of Orange spuds before, but thought we'd give it a try. Wow, a new favourite in our household. Worked really well roasted in the oven and also made a very tasty potato salad. It seems to cook faster than some other varieties (which is great when you're short on time). It's really tasty too, and being a different colour, the salad was beautiful - instead of the usual pale colour, it was vibrant (and we left the skins on too). Love the fact that it is only brushed (not washed) and that it comes in the paper bag, perfect for storage.
