Some reviews:
Love them! Brilliant macros, perfect ingredient for adding extra bulk, protein and fibre to oats and pancakes.
I have so far used these in muffins and in rice; For rice I have used 50gm LFs and 120gm basmati and steamed it in microwave with excellent results – the flavour is mild.
Muffins had no wheat flour in them just almond meal and lupin flakes!
I am adding it to smoothies, cereals and salads. A little bit for each so as to not overpower the other flavours
I tried Lupin Flour to incorporate into a Keto diet. I have been experimenting with making bread in a bread machine with Lupin flour and have successfully made delicious bread with Lupin Flour after modifiying a low carb recipe I found on YouTube. There is an awesome YouTube site called KetoFusion, The owner of this site has a great number and variety of bread recipes all made with Lupin flour and she experiments with Lupin flour for all her bread making and baking creations for Keto and Low Carb. All her recipes including the ingredients are freely available on her site. I love the taste of Lupin Flour bread, flavour is great and making it in a bread maker is easy. so my bread cravings are satisfied and Lupin Flour is so good for my health.
I’m diabetic and my daughter is celiac, I use lupin flour to make cakes and for dusting meat I’m going to crumb. I even made a boiled Christmas cake last Christmas, it turned out fantastic and Salt and Pepper Squid with the lupin flour, yum. I use the flakes for bread crumbs and the lemon pepper crumb as well. Flakes can also be put in rissoles to help keep them together, I think it works better than the old bead crumb. This product is better than gluten free flour, it tastes better and is low carb so I can eat it too. It has a better taste and flavour than normal flours. I love that’s it grown in Australia, it makes it taste even better ???? Still experimenting cant wait to see what I can come up with next.
